Training
- Sunday: 8-10am (all year) with breakfast to follow
- Tuesday and Thursday: 6-7.30pm (October-April during Daylight Savings)
Blessed with one of the most scenic training grounds in the world, we frequently encountering sealife including penguins, turtles, seals and dolphins!
We take the boats out for a ride around Manly Cove, North Harbour and Spring Cove.
On a nice sunny day, we occasionally take a mid-session break for a refreshing dip at one of the many beautiful beaches! (some only accessible by boat)

Contact the club if you are interested in joining us for a free trial, so we can plan ahead
Meet at Manly Yacht Club at 8am to fill out the new paddler form and receive instructions before heading out on the water.

- Must be able to swim 150m fully clothed
What to bring
Be prepared to get wet - it is a water sport! So wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet, such as gym gear.
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Dry clothes for after training
During warm weather, don’t forget to wear your swimmers as we often sneak in a quick swim during a break from paddling.
Equipment
We have plenty of training paddles for new paddlers to use.
Club location
Located on East Esplanade at the Manly Yacht Club.
East Esplanade is left of Manly Wharf (if you are standing with your back to the Corso and facing Manly Wharf).
Meeting at Manly Yacht Club - look for the people with the navy singlets and paddles!
